Construction Sales Engineer - Low /Medium Voltages Products
You will be responsible for selling low/medium voltage power distribution products in the Virginia market, working remotely/hybrid.
Overview Siemens, a global technology company in electrical engineering, seeks an experienced sales engineer with a proven track record in LV/MV power distribution to support our contractors and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and support general and electrical contractors within the sales area.
Participate in special interest groups (business development) to build relationships that benefit Siemens and targeted contractors.
Develop and implement business strategies, forecast, and maintain an opportunity pipeline within sales area.
Provide product support for panelboards, switchboards, medium voltage gear, lighting panels, low voltage switchgear, busway, motor control centers, molded case circuit breakers, IEC/NEMA control, safety switches, and residential products.
Engage throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful implementation of contractor objectives.
Stay current on the latest industry technology and market drivers.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
5+ years of sales experience with LV/MV power distribution product line (or 10+ years).
5+ years of knowledge of the contract and procurement process (or 10+ years).
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA.
BS in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience selling to general electrical contractors.
