Location: Lisle, IL. Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00‑8:00 pm. Part‑Time, 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities :

Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner following department protocols and radiologist direction.

Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, documenting information per department standards.

Prepare patient for procedures, provide instructions, gain cooperation, minimize anxiety.

Select and operate breast imaging equipment and devices to achieve desired results.

Position patient and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest; explain compression while respecting comfort.

Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.

Experience with stereotactic biopsies and/or willingness to be trained to assist.

Participate in staff meetings, maintain positive relationships with co‑workers, physicians, and other health care team members.

Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promote safety habits.

Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and organizational information.

Maintain supplies needed for adequate department levels.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Mammography experience preferred but not required.

Stereotactic biopsy experience a plus.

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography.

Active ARRT certification status maintained by fulfilling continuing education requirements.

Illinois State Licensure (IEMA).

CPR Certification.

Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present required.

Knowledge of computer‑based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

Working knowledge and skills of a mammography technologist; able to perform daily tasks and duties including patient care and completion of clinical exams.

Compensation :

Base pay range $32.65‑$49.00 per hour, determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
