Overview Position located in Naperville, IL.
Position Highlights
Part-Time, 20 Hours
Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00-8:00pm

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager and Breast Radiologist, perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner following department protocols and radiologist direction.
Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure and ensure documentation meets department standards.
Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions to obtain desired results, facilitate cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
Select and operate breast imaging equipment and associated devices to achieve desired results.
Position patient and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest; explain the need for breast compression while respecting comfort.
Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
Experience with stereotactic biopsies and/or willing to be trained to assist with this procedure.
Department Support
Participate in staff meetings.
Maintain positive work relationships with co-workers, physicians, and other health care team members.
Maintain an orderly and clean work area to promote safety.
Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and organizational information.
Maintain supplies needed to ensure adequate levels within the department.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Mammography experience preferred but not required.
Stereotactic biopsy experience a plus.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography.
Active ARRT certification status maintained by fulfilling continuing education requirements.
Illinois State Licensure (IEMA).
CPR Certification.
Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to present required.
Knowledge of computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge and skills of a mammography technologist and ability to perform daily tasks and duties, including patient care and completion of clinical exams.
Compensation The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $32.65-$49.00 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
