Overview
Part‑time, 20 hours per week
Hours: Monday‑Friday, 4:00‑8:00 pm
Location: Bloomingdale, IL

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager and Breast Radiologist, utilize independent judgment and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of breast procedures, anatomy, and physiology.
Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner, following department protocols and radiologist direction.
Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures, ensuring accurate documentation.
Prepare patients, provide instructions, and minimize anxiety while obtaining desired imaging results.
Select and operate breast imaging equipment, positioning patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest.
Explain the need for breast compression and ensure patient comfort.
Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Experience with stereotactic biopsies is preferred; willingness to be trained to assist as needed.
Participate in staff meetings, maintain positive relationships with colleagues, and uphold confidentiality.
Maintain an orderly, clean work area and ensure adequate supplies of departmental needs.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Mammography experience preferred but not required.
Stereotactic biopsy experience a plus.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography required.
Maintain active ARRT certification through continuing education.
Illinois State Licensure (IEMA) required.
CPR Certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with computer‑based applications, email, and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to perform daily technologist tasks, including patient care and clinical exam completion.
Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $32.65‑$49.00 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
