Accountant 3/Accountant 4 Flex As an Accountant 3, you will receive training to perform the full range of duties and as an Accountant 4 you will be fully proficient in all duties; Internal audit functions Provide analysis and recommendations of agency operations and internal, management, fiscal and accounting controls. Prepare departmental financial reports for inclusion in the Annual Financial Comprehensive Report. Write policies, procedures, and training for IRIS. Principles of Accounting: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices (for example, double entry accounting, accrual accounting), including the full accounting cycle and the preparation of worksheets, financial statements, ledgers, and journals. Reasoning: Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information; analyzes information and makes correct inferences or draws accurate conclusions. Technical Competence: Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one\u2019s job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
