Job Description & Duties The Staff Services Manager (SSM) I is the manager of the Criminal Record Update Section. The SSM I plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Section; develops plans and strategies for improvements to current processing technologies; represents the Bureau in meetings with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies regarding applicant or criminal issues; meets with vendors and Division information technology personnel regarding program automation issues; sets work priorities; and reviews legislation and its impact to the program.
