Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on a wide range of vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and delivering excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Inspect and replace air filters, batteries, belts, hoses, wiper blades, and light bulbs
Mount, balance, and repair tires
Perform brake services, including pad and rotor replacement
Conduct multi‑point vehicle inspections
Assist with diagnosing basic vehicle issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer service procedures
Communicate findings and service recommendations to service advisors or managers
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1+ year of automotive experience (but not required for entry‑level)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and a team‑oriented attitude
ASE certifications a plus, or willingness to obtain
