The successful candidate’s attributes should include direct supervisory responsibilities, strong experience with FAR/DFARS/Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) terms and conditions risk assessment and negotiations, understanding of international and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting, knowledge of offsets and industrial participation, experience in intellectual property issues and USG data rights, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Experience managing Government contracts under the FAR and DFARS.

Provide strategic advice and guidance on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks.

Partner with Finance leadership to ensure financial targets are met through contract awards and payment negotiations.

Develop and implement contract strategies consistent with Voyager strategic imperatives.

Ensure contracting activities are vetted across Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Controller, and Compliance functions.

Ensure each contract and proposal action is reviewed and approved consistently with the Delegation of Authority and documented per policy.

Develop, support, and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions.

Manage and provide leadership for contract management responsibilities, including:

Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiations.

Assess terms and conditions to protect the corporation from unusual risk while improving financial goals.

Represent and recommend to executive leadership aligned with Voyager strategy.

Coordinate and resolve key business issues with legal, risk management, and corporate contracts.

Close out contracts and interface with Supply Chain leadership to incorporate required contracting requirements.

Experience in developing proposals, cost structure, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and negotiations.

Experience leading direct reports.

Demonstrated ability to shape results in support of objectives and influence executive leadership.

Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with complex customers.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).

10‑15 years of experience in a highly dynamic role in a technology, defense, or aerospace company.

Proactive communication and polished interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.

Highly analytical and adept at solving complex, cross‑functional problems in a people‑centric way.

High ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.

Incredibly detail‑oriented and data‑driven.

A fast learner and insatiably curious.

Tactical, passionate about technology and efficiency.

Highly operational.

Compensation and Benefits Voyager offers a comprehensive, total compensation package, which includes competitive salary, a discretionary annual bonus plan, paid time off (PTO), a comprehensive health benefit package, retirement savings, wellness program, and various other benefits.

Pay Range California: $150,000—$225,000 USD Colorado: $150,000—$225,000 USD
