Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - P&C - Base Pay + Bonus
Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative. Starting base pay is $28.13/hour with an uncapped bonus plan available. Average variable compensation is roughly $2,000 per month but can vary and could be up to $7,000 or higher. Variable compensation will grow as we expand business in multiple states.
Primary Accountabilities
Quote and sell automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance products.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email.
Attend required training, ongoing training, meetings, one‑on‑ones, and continued education requirements to maintain an active property‑casualty producer's license.
Demonstrate advantages of our products, services, and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Maintain an organized, up‑to‑date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes.
Prioritize sales opportunities based on ICP on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
Explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
Work Location & Hours In this primarily home‑based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home, proximate to Denver, CO. On occasion you may be asked to travel to the office location for in‑person engagement activities. Training will be approximately 2 months (8:30am to 5:00pm local time). After training, new hire shifts will be evening shifts ending at 8:00pm, Monday through Friday and ending at 5:00pm on Saturdays.
Licensing
You must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines license. American Family Insurance will pay to maintain your licenses after hire along with all CE requirements.
