Overview
Licensed Inside Sales Representative - P&C - Base Pay Bonus. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, educating clients, quoting and selling insurance products, and maintaining an active license while working from home up to 80% of the time in the Denver, CO area.
Responsibilities
Quote and sell insurance products including automobile, homeowners and umbrella insurance.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email to prospective clients.
Attend required training, ongoing training, meetings, one-on-ones, and continuing education to maintain an active property casualty producer license.
Demonstrate advantages of products, services and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes.
Prioritize sales opportunities based on ICP across multiple computer systems during a quote.
Explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
Qualifications
Active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines license is required.
Compensation & Schedule Starting base pay is $28.13/hour with an uncapped bonus plan. Average variable compensation is approximately $2,000 per month but may vary and could be up to $7,000 or higher. Variable compensation grows as business expands in multiple states.

Note: Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Location & Travel Home-based role; 80% time from home (4+ days/week) near Denver, CO. Occasional travel to office for in-person activities such as meetings, trainings, and culture events.
Training & Schedule Details Training is approximately 2 months, 8:30am – 5:00pm local time. There is no time off during training. After training, shifts are evenings ending at 8:00pm local time (Mon–Fri) and 5:00pm on Saturdays, with a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation. A 9-hour shift on Monday is required with a shorter shift later in the week.
Licenses
You must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines license. American Family Insurance will pay to maintain your licenses after hire and cover CE requirements.
Travel & Physical Requirements
Travel up to 10%.
Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
