Executive Recruiter - servicing Raleigh and surrounding areas Our client is seeking an
Accounts Receivable Analyst
to join their Treasury team. This role is responsible for managing receivables activity across several business units, supporting cash management operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment that values collaboration and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and distribute customer invoices for multiple entities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Support efforts to streamline and automate billing and receivable processes across the organization.
Record incoming payments from various sources (checks, ACH, wires) and post them correctly to customer accounts and the general ledger.
Perform reconciliations for receivable balances and bank activity, investigating and resolving variances as needed.
Track outstanding balances, follow up on delinquent accounts, and document collection efforts.
Prepare and maintain regular reporting on aging schedules, DSO metrics, and cash application trends.
Assist in maintaining banking relationships, including account openings, signatory updates, and account reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities by ensuring receivable data is complete and accurate.
Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of treasury and receivable procedures.
Provide occasional backup or project support to other members of the treasury or accounting teams.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Familiarity with bank automation tools or treasury management systems is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service.
