Position Overview

Truck Driver CDL A Regional – Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A Regional HOME WEEKLY Truck Driver at Ryder in Portland, ME. Contact Nicholas for more information: 904‑618‑3721 (text "Portland"). Compensation and Schedule

Average weekly pay: $2,154 (potential for more). Solo Miles Pay: $0.78 per mile with 1,800 miles per week. Solo Stops Pay: $30.00 per stop with 20 stops per week. Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 3 nights per week. Sign‑On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days. Paid Training. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM dispatch. Deliver SOLO to the Northeast Region (excluding NYC). Truck type: Sleeper. Trailer type: Dry Van, Pup Trailers 48', 53’. Freight: Touch‑Windows. Benefits

Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder drug test. Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (include drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years). Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Loading/unloading freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer. Perform other duties as assigned. EEO Statement
