Responsibilities

Works closely with Quality Manager and Quality Engineer to oversee continuous quality improvement of manufacturing line operations.

Training of operations to quality aspects of their position.

Process verifications, ensuring that the specifications are adhered to and that traceability is maintained.

In-process product dispositioning; these will include all items that require dispositioning that has not been delegated to Operations and areas of uncertainty of Operation's dispositioning.

Training and delegation of operations to disposition non-conformance issues; these include pre-determined items that are agreed to by Quality and Operations.

Working closely with operation team to ensure conformity to technical specifications and continuous improvement.

Participate in GEMBA walks to ensure efficient processes and work areas.

Participation in Continuous Improvement projects launched in the related workshop.

Participating in usage of Resolution of Operations Problems (RPOs) and 8D's for identifying issue root-causes and ensuring implementation of associated corrective actions.

Involvement in periodic audits on processes and /or operators.

Involvement in certifying and / or qualifying operators for Quality based functions.

Incoming inspection of hardware and tooling; carbon only; non-conformity management via PCD-SLS-025.

Quality representative for Operations level 1 SQCDPI meetings to ensure continuous Quality improvement.

Qualifications

ITAR Controlled Position: Role requires U.S. citizenship/permanent residency.

Will be exposed to and handle hazardous wastes as defined in 40 CFR 261.3.

Must sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment.

Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment.

Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically.

Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards.

Associates degree in technical field preferred.

At least 1 year experience in manufacturing quality, manufacturing, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.

ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality system experience preferred.

Basic data analysis skill (Statistic, Ms Excel and etc) is preferred.

Contributing to Team Success, Decision Making, Initiating Action, Quality Orientation.
