JOB SUMMARY The Executive Assistant to the CFO at BKV is responsible for managing the CFO’s calendar, handling communication, coordinating meetings and travel, and assisting with projects and organizational tasks. The Executive Assistant acts as the primary point of contact between the executive and internal and external stakeholders, representing the executive’s interests and priorities. This role works to achieve operational targets under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must have the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices, and must exhibit a high degree of trustworthiness and discretion. This is a great role for someone who wants to truly partner with their executive and that department. RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the Executive Assistant to the CFO include:

Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and prioritize the executive’s time.

Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, filtering important communications.

Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for meetings or presentations.

Organize complex travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, and transportation.

Ensure travel arrangements align with the executive’s needs and preferences, including last‑minute changes.

Schedule, organize, and coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistics are in place.

Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

Ensure executive is well‑prepared for meetings, with necessary documents or briefings.

Act as the main point of contact between the executive and other staff, clients, or stakeholders.

Respond to inquiries on behalf of the executive, drafting responses when appropriate.

Prepare status updates, help organize resources and follow up with team members.

Organize and maintain important files, contracts, and documents.

Ensure that confidential information is handled appropriately, following company policies.

Organize and manage events, meetings, or conferences that the executive is involved in.

Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, attendee communication, etc.

Handle expense reports for executive.

Provide light support to other high‑level leaders, potentially in the form of expense reports and other administrative tasks.

Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to make quick, informed decisions, especially when the executive is unavailable.

Skilled at managing time‑sensitive activities and balancing executive priorities.

Ability to act in the best interests of the executive without breaching trust or confidentiality.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and job‑related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to a C‑level executive.

Previous experience supporting a CFO is a plus.

Previous experience supporting an executive at a company of 500‑1000 is a plus.

Previous experience supporting an executive at a publicly traded company is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is located in Denver, Colorado. Position is hybrid depending on weekly priorities and events.

Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment. May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.

COMPENSATION

Base Pay: $64,000 – $106,000
