Job Summary:

The Analytics & Clinical Effectiveness (A&CE) Specialist supports Stanford Medicine Children’s Health’s Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Celiac Disease by developing data‑driven solutions that improve clinical quality, safety, service and equity. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, data discovery, statistical modeling, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives.

This is a 3‑year fixed‑term, full‑time position with a Seniority Level of Not Applicable. The role is in the Health Care Provider job function.

Essential Functions:

Develop, implement, and automate reporting solutions; create summary statistics and Business Intelligence (BI) reports to communicate key findings.

Interpret data analyses, develop insights, and present clear, compelling stories that drive decision‑making.

Consult with stakeholders to clarify business needs, develop metrics, and translate requirements into actionable data plans.

Build and validate analytical or statistical models that provide actionable insights.

Design effective analytics strategies to measure and improve departmental and organizational goals.

Collaborate with quality & performance improvement teams to develop measures for clinical outcomes and process improvement.

Provide consultative analytics expertise to the Center for Pediatric & Maternal Value and other interdisciplinary clinical effectiveness teams.

Represent the Center at meetings and committees on Quality, Safety, Service and Equity analytics.

Collaborate internally and externally to achieve optimal outcomes and improve clinical performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible, directly related work experience; five (5) years preferred.

Licensure/Certification: None required.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Advanced statistical analysis, data visualization, relational database tools (SQL, R/Python/SAS/STATA), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects), project planning, and familiarity with electronic health record data.

Pay Range:

$53.98 – $71.57 per hour (minimum to midpoint).
