Information Systems Manager 1- Microsoft 365 Administration

The incumbent leads the Microsoft365 (M365) Administrators and Support teams and oversees staff, budget, technical solutions and services, architecture, technology management, and project implementation. The incumbent has a proven background managing large enterprise IT systems and experience with the Microsoft Platform and M365 suite (including Email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure, Intune, and other collaboration tools). The role operates in a 7x24x365 critical environment and requires strong leadership and collaboration with IT and business leadership on industry trends and usage. Responsibilities
40% - M365 Team Leadership 20% - Project Management 20% - Customer Service Management 10% - Financial Management, Purchasing, & Contracting 10% - Human Resource Administration Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar field and/or equivalent experience/training Extensive experience with Information Technology, management, and communications At least three years of supervisory and/or managerial experience managing a technical team in an enterprise IT environment Extensive experience (eight years or more) with Microsoft and Microsoft365 products in an enterprise environment, with focus on/functions including: Microsoft Windows Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration Email/SMTP Routing/DNS Routing Architecture and Configuration Active Directory, InTune, MS Azure, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook/OWA Email Security/Encryption/Legal Holds/Audits Experience with third-party Anti-Spam & malware solutions Microsoft native spam, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Encryption, and other security features SharePoint Architecture builds and implementations Email Archiving and Retrieval Knowledge of M365 suite across Windows, iOS, Android Cluster replication and redundancy MS scripting, including PowerShell Application Development Project management experience Detailed knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office tools Strong leadership and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment Strategic thinker for Microsoft Platforms with ability to forecast changes Ability to articulate strategic and tactical vision for organizational needs and execution Ability to inspire teams and contribute to creative thought Organized supervisor/manager capable of implementing effective management structures Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with sound judgment on prioritization Preferred Qualifications
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, M365, PMP, Six Sigma) Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering Experience with databases, application development, electronic faxing, and mass emailing systems Knowledge of quality control and improvement principles Analytical and management skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication, negotiation, mentoring, and collaboration skills Ability to work with others and communicate effectively to management, peers, staff, and customers Professional integrity, decisive judgment, and ability to foster a culture of transparency Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and present meaningful reports Position Information
