We are Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Artificial Intelligence! This exciting position is with the Aeronautics Artificial Intelligence Team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The role is for an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer who will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the Artificial Intelligence and software field to develop solutions for complex aeronautics problems.
What You Will Be Doing You will focus on the development and implementation of AI technologies and capabilities that provide discriminating solutions to our customers. This role requires engagement in every phase of the system lifecycle—including requirements generation, system and design, implementation, integration, and flight testing. Activities will range from proof‑of‑concept and prototype demonstrations to transition to production. The candidate will also shape R&D opportunities (CRAD, CRADA, internal/external collaborations) with a focus on customer science and technology organizations such as DARPA, AFRL, or ONR.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including program management, advanced concepts, advanced systems, special projects, and external customers.
Drive the design and development of key technologies within the scope and realm of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Apply new and existing technologies in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.
Provide up to 10% domestic travel.
Exhibit self‑motivation, a strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.
