Business Development Specialist - Intellectual Property and Disputes
Base pay range: $89,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr.

Overview This role supports the U.S. Marketing & Business Development team with day‑to‑day business development across the Litigation group. Responsibilities include client targeting, proposal writing and management, product and thought leadership, market research, cross‑practice opportunities, and legal directory submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Pitches, Proposals and Credentials: Create and manage competitive proposals and presentations, analyze data to identify win/loss factors, and conduct pitch debriefs.
Marketing Systems: Maintain practice and attorney information in marketing systems for accurate, timely documents.
Market Research: Develop sector- and practice‑specific knowledge to identify opportunities and expand business.
Internal Communications: Provide market intelligence and communication on client targeting activities.
Cross‑Practice and Global Integration: Identify and share cross‑jurisdictional opportunities with local and global colleagues.
Client Events: Plan and facilitate client events and seminars.
Sponsorships: Coordinate practice‑related sponsorships of conferences.
PR & Profile: Secure press coverage, compile league table information, and manage directory submissions.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of legal or professional services experience in high‑profile, fast‑paced environments.
High attention to detail and strong client focus.
Team player able to collaborate with colleagues across borders.
Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
Ability to write compelling business development proposals and marketing materials.
A self‑starter who prioritizes and drives multiple projects.
Willingness to develop deep knowledge of IP litigation, cross‑dispute practices, life sciences, healthcare, and technology sectors.
Bachelor's degree required.
