Account Strategist, Paid Media (Remote US) – Future Opening
Join Directive Consulting, a performance marketing agency focused on SaaS and tech companies, using our proprietary Customer Generation methodology to drive SQLs and customers through paid media, SEO, performance creative, and video strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and lead multiple Paid Media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Maintain weekly communication with vendors and operational partners to align on tasks and quality
Drive referrals through client relationships and professional network
Build and refine strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms
Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing accuracy within the CRM
Leverage programmatic campaign insights
Manage personal productivity and utilization
Collaborate with Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved
Execute and optimize PPC campaigns focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
3+ years experience in a performance/digital marketing agency
Experience working with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
Proficiency in advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Strong understanding of PPC principles – keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, optimization
Ability to analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
Results‑oriented mindset with focus on measurable improvements via OKRs
Proven success with mid‑market or enterprise accounts
Strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate data into actionable strategy
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management abilities
Passionate about industry trends and continuous learning
Quality‑obsessed mindset with a dedication to advertising excellence
Willingness to travel to clients approximately once per year, as needed
What Success Looks Like
Effectively manage approximately five mid‑tier and enterprise accounts
Meet and exceed department OKRs such as client growth and goal attainment
Build client trust to secure consistent renewals
Cross‑sell services aligned with client goals
Communicate results clearly with client point of contact and executives
Make strategic decisions that drive client success
What We Offer Compensation:
Annual base salary range $70,000 – $95,000 USD, potential for bonus eligibility.
