Overview
Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Service Sales – NE Atlantic to lead a high performing team within the NE Atlantic Operating Area (OA). The Sales Manager will monitor, manage, and measure all sales processes, provide direction for continuous improvement initiatives, and meet or exceed the Operating Area’s business objectives.
Leadership Impact
Oversee sales strategy, including integration of sales growth, pricing analysis, and market segment share objectives for assigned Operating Territories.
Refine existing programs and develop & lead new ones to increase sales, awards, and bookings.
Work collaboratively with senior leadership, general managers, and Operating Territory leaders to identify and execute strategic goals and objectives.
Nurture relationships with existing key customers, consultants, and general contractors, and help develop new ones.
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development for sales associates to meet or exceed sales plans.
Develop, maintain, and manage strong relationships with sub‑region leadership, including branch managers, branch sales managers, and functional leaders.
Direct continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
5+ years of sales experience.
Prior people‑leadership experience.
5 years of elevator industry experience preferred.
Ability to work in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment.
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Self‑motivated, able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
Comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft‐based computer software.
Strong leadership skills, goal‑oriented, time‑management, and organizational skills.
Travel up to 20% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree required.
