Information Technology (IT) Project Assistant
will serve as a coordinator within the Digital Technology Services (DTS) Project Management Office (PMO) at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Responsibilities include educating new PMO team members and DTS leaders on PMO methodology, ensuring compliance, and creating monthly metrics to monitor outcomes. This position is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence up to 25% at any HMH location as needed. Responsibilities
Understand and monitor adherence to the PMO methodology. Develop and maintain monthly PMO metrics scorecard. Lead process improvement initiatives for the PMO methodology. Train and support PMO team members and DTS leaders on PPM tools and methodology. Support and troubleshoot issues with PPM tools. Prepare and facilitate PMO meetings. Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks. Build relationships across DTS and with key organizational stakeholders. Analyze project data and produce progress reports. Coordinate small projects as assigned. Perform other duties and projects as needed. Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Qualifications
Required
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or professional setting, preferably in healthcare. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Process-oriented mindset with ability to lead process improvements. Knowledge of PMO processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. Detail-oriented, independent, self-motivated, adaptable. Preferred
Bachelor's Degree. Healthcare experience. Project Management experience. Experience with ServiceNow and Asana. Certifications
