Sr Principal Customer Success Account Manager - CTJ - Top Secret Join Microsoft as a Sr Principal Customer Success Account Manager - CTJ - Top Secret. This role is part of our Microsoft Federal organization, focused on serving U.S. Government customers and accelerating their cloud and AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Account Director, Strategic Account Executive, and Account Technology Strategist to build and execute the Strategic Account Plan.

Own the development and execution of cross‑cloud consumption plans and ensure high‑value outcomes for the customer.

Engage and nurture senior customer executives to drive strategic account plans, consumption roadmaps, and delivery oversight.

Co‑manage relationships with Microsoft Executive Sponsors and coordinate communication and escalation strategies.

Leverage technology expertise to design, deploy, and support large solutions that maximize business value.

Provide leadership and orchestration across the Customer Success Unit, Microsoft technical specialists, partner project teams, and CSAMs to ensure operational health and value realization.

Persistently monitor, assess, and improve consumption planning and execution for strategic pursuits.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years of customer success, solution delivery, or portfolio management experience.

OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND 6+ years of customer success, solution delivery, or portfolio management experience.

Candidate must hold an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to maintain clearance and meet all Microsoft and customer screening requirements is mandatory.

Verification of U.S. citizenship via passport or applicable government documentation is required.

Full Microsoft Cloud background check required at hire and biennially thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience within the federal/government industry.

Senior Program Manager or Senior Engagement Manager experience focused on cloud and software/services solutions.

Proven relationship building with senior customer roles in large or highly strategic accounts.

Strong stakeholder management and consensus‑building capabilities.

Experience planning portfolio of engagements, cross‑group collaboration, and resource orchestration.

Technical engagement and delivery management for large, complex, global strategic customers.

Compensation Base pay ranges from

USD $130,900 – $251,900

annually for most locations, with higher ranges in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
