Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

The Site General Manager will lead all operations at my client's manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production, quality, and operational performance while aligning plant activities with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a strong background in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and team development.

Description

Lead day-to-day facility operations, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.

Drive growth by optimizing internal processes such as quoting, prototyping, and product launches.

Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively across departments.

Utilize ERP and financial systems to monitor performance and report key metrics.

Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Develop and maintain strong communication channels across teams and departments.

Partner with corporate functions such as HR, Finance, and IT to support operational needs.

Build and maintain positive employee relations, including in unionized environments.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership roles.

Proven ability to manage production planning, quality control, and cost optimization.

Experience managing multidisciplinary teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Sales, Finance/Accounting, & Customer Service.

Strong understanding of Lean principles and ERP systems.

Prior experience managing full P&L responsibilities.

Track record driving improvements to all functions of a manufacturing operations - certifications in LEAN/Six Sigma are desired.

Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.

Job Offer

Base salary ranging from $170,000 to $190,000 depending on experience level.

30% target bonus, based on site performance metrics.
