Permanent/Time-Limited: Full-Time Permanent Hours per week : 40 Work Schedule : M-F, 40 hours/week Work Location : CHAPEL HILL, NC Position Location : North Carolina, US Hiring Range : $47,660 - $55,000 Position Summary
This position will serve as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within the Center for Aging & Health. This 5-year National Institute of Aging (NIA) R01 research study will investigate the optimal intervention sequence used to achieve weight loss in older adults with obesity and multiple chronic conditions needing ongoing care. The study aligns with the NIH Strategic Plans for Obesity, Nutrition Research, and Precision Health, and is responsive to NOSI 22-203 and the Institute of Medicine’s call for telehealth research that may influence policy by advancing health delivery science. The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the execution of study protocols, including screening and recruiting study participants, conducting study visits, and collecting, entering, and reviewing study data. Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Research experience, experience working in clinical or research settings, experience performing administrative duties and tasks. Other Requirements
