Role Description: Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Part-Time (Fairfield County, CT) We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a part-time, on-site position serving children in public schools, a pediatric therapy clinic, and an ABA center in Fairfield County, CT. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse settings with a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to supporting children’s sensory, motor, and cognitive development.

Schedule & Commitment: July: Part-time (approximately 10 hours/week) August: Limited hours (approximately 5–10 hours/week) September–December: Full-time (40 hours/week) for maternity leave coverage Opportunity for ongoing part-time work following maternity coverage, based on therapist interest and program needs

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of pediatric clients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-regulation, sensory processing, and activities of daily living Deliver direct therapy services to children in school-based, clinical, and ABA settings Collaborate with families, educators, ABA teams, and other professionals to support carryover of therapeutic strategies across environments Maintain clear and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, session notes, and progress updates Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning as needed

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Connecticut OT license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing challenges, and motor coordination difficulties Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for working with children in a dynamic, multi-setting environment
