Digital Infrastructure - Associate (Mid-Level) – MIA Greenberg Traurig is looking for an Associate to join its Digital Infrastructure practice, with offices in Miami, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Northern Virginia. The practice advises a range of clients in over 100 countries on cloud transactions, data center operations, and related infrastructure deals.

About the Role As a mid‑level associate, you will handle the full transaction cycle—from drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, data center leases and development agreements, service level agreements, loan documents, and operating/joint‑venture agreements. You’ll work on a diverse array of projects including data center acquisitions, leases, development, terrestrial network deals, and submarine cable agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements, data center leases, and development agreements.

Draft service level agreements, loan documents, and operating/joint‑venture agreements.

Work on terrestrial network and submarine cable consortium contracts.

Provide legal counsel to clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

3‑5 years of relevant experience as an attorney.

Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and a willingness to take on significant responsibility.

Excellent academic credentials and written communication skills.

Admission to, or eligibility for, admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Location Miami, FL – (or Washington, DC, Chicago, or Northern Virginia – based on client requirements)

Compensation and Benefits Chicago and Washington, DC range: $225,000 – $260,000 per year. Salary adjusted by experience, location, and other factors. Full‑time employees may receive discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (with optional HSA), disability, dental, vision, life, health & dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program, along with voluntary accident, life, disability, long‑term care, critical illness, cancer, and pet insurance.
