Our client, a 19-room boutique Bed & Breakfast in a historic seaside community in NJ, seeks a dedicated Innkeeper/Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and uphold the hotel’s reputation for warmth and personalized service. This full-time role reports to the Hotel Owner and requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a charming, small-scale property.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations and guest services to ensure exceptional experiences.
Lead a hands-on, guest-focused team and maintain a warm, personalized service approach.
Manage on-site property operations, guest relations, and staff coordination.
Collaborate with the Hotel Owner on strategic decisions and service standards.
Qualifications
2+ years of hospitality experience
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency with reservation systems and office software
Ability to work flexible hours
Basic financial literacy for budgeting
Experience in housekeeping and light breakfast preparation
Preferred Background
Experience in small hotel or bed-and-breakfast settings
Knowledge of the area’s local attractions, dining, and culture
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with marketing and social media management (preferred)
Ability to inspect and ensure timely maintenance of the facility
Strong interpersonal skills for guest and staff interactions
