Job Title: Assistant Case Manager (Visitation) Job Location: Various Tucson Office Locations
Salary: $17.34/hour
Grade: 14

Candidates who are successfully employed as Case Aide for five (4) years will be eligible to apply for a promotional opportunity to a DCS Specialist Trainee Position ($21.70 hourly).
Responsibilities
Safely escort clients to Department visitation meetings and document observations.
Supervise visitation meetings among clients (parents and children).
Enter case notes into the computer-based Case Management System.
Drive on state business to transport children to appointments.
Perform other duties as appropriate to the assignment.
Alternative work hours may be required, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
computers and software (Microsoft Office Suite), mobile devices, digital calendars (Outlook) & video conferencing (Microsoft Teams).
Skill in
establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; general clerical functions such as data entry and filling; verbal and written communication; eliciting and gathering information; modeling professional behavior with clients; time management and multi-tasking; observation.
Ability to
gain knowledge on human and social services; comply with related state, federal and local laws and DCS policies and procedures; comprehend and follow moderately complex instructions; organize data logically; prepare accurate written reports; actively listen and provide supportive attention to clients; acquire and renew CPR certification.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Valid issued driver’s license.
Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must be able to pass a written exam, background investigation, motor vehicle report check and DCS Central Registry check.
Must complete driver’s license record checks and maintain an acceptable driving record, including required training and insurance.
Must complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
