Create tailored treatment strategies to meet immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver focused speech therapy interventions addressing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Partner with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to integrate care plans. Provide educational resources for patients and their families to encourage continued improvement beyond scheduled therapies. Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless care during the recovery process. Ensure timely and precise documentation, complying with all pertinent regulations and standards. Engage in professional development opportunities and peer support to keep abreast of the latest industry advancements. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. A successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Key Licenses and Certification
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hiring. Required Skills
