Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Auburn, ME, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers flexibility in selecting your preferred location based on caseload preferences, ensuring a balanced and rewarding experience. Key Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Valid SLP School Certification Experience working with K-12 students Ability to manage varied caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels Professional interest in supporting CFYs (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates) and SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants) Position Details: Full-time contract for the 2025-2026 school year Three openings available: Two positions supporting elementary levels One position serving a split caseload between middle and high school Flexible location options within the district to accommodate caseload preferences Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based speech and language assessment and therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Provide mentorship and support to CFYs and SLPAs as needed Benefits: Opportunity to work in a dynamic K-12 educational environment Flexibility in selecting work location based on caseload Professional development opportunities through mentoring relationships Qualified candidates interested in applying are encouraged to submit their application to take advantage of this engaging and flexible position supporting student communication and learning outcomes.
