Description Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using standardized assessments and observational methodologies. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focused on enhancing speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure unified care. Provide education to patients and their families to foster ongoing progress in non-clinical settings. Support the occasional inpatient service with speech therapy evaluations and treatments to ensure seamless continuity in care. Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to all state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continual professional development and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
