Description Perform comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft personalized treatment plans tailored to address immediate goals as well as long-term needs for communication, cognition, and swallowing. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language enhancement, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to forge cohesive care frameworks. Educate patients and their families to ensure progress persists beyond clinical interactions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing continuity of care throughout the patient journey. Ensure precise and timely documentation adheres to regulatory standards imposed by state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Stay informed about the latest advancements in the field through continual education and interaction with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
