Medical AR Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical AR Specialist for our healthcare client located in Northwest Houston. This position will be

100% onsite

and a full-time, contract opportunity.

This position will be 100% FULLY ONSITE. Please do not apply if you are looking for remote only.

This position will be helping our client with their backlog of AR, analyzing and researching denials, modifying and correcting claims, following up with insurances, and collecting on insurance and patient balances. Interested candidates must be knowledgable of TX Medicaid and must feel comfortable jumping right into the position with little to no training.

Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years medical AR/billing experience

Must be knowledgable of TX Medicaid payer

Proficient working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette

Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Can work well independently and problem-solve analytically

Ability to prioritize and remain organized

Able to meet production metrics as outlined by management

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $25.00 per hour
