Regional Operations Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in NE Portland, OR on a Regional Operations Manager job. Responsibilities: Drive performance in productivity, delivery, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction by collaborating directly with Branch-level teams. Maintain full P&L responsibility and all operations at 3 manufacturing sites in 3 states, manage expenses, and implement Lean practices to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop teams with a hands-on, people-first approach, prioritizing coaching and collaborative leadership over top-down management. Ensure compliance with safety and quality systems, including training and adherence to EEOC, OSHA, and WIHA regulations. Oversee the health of equipment, personnel, and plant processes, working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering strongly preferred 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience managing P&L for a location or business unit
Skills:
Hands on leadership style - lead through presence, accessibility, and mentoring Strong communication skills from front line production team members through executive leadership Working knowledge of metals, CNC machining, saws, etc
About the role:
Full Time, Direct Hire Mon - Fri; 8a-5p Primarily onsite role with 50% travel - 2 weeks of the month in 2 different states Comp / Benefits - 125-150K DOE; company performance bonus potential, employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k
