Based in Winston‑Salem, NC, we specialize in creating impactful and memorable engagements for our clients.
Role Description
This is a part‑time role with potential for full‑time for an Events & Client Relations Associate. The Associate will be responsible for the following:
Content & Storytelling: Create on‑brand pitch decks, proposals, and client presentations (PowerPoint/Keynote/Canva/Google Slides).
Event Coordination: Support timelines, run‑of‑show, vendor comms, budgets, load‑in/out; jump in on site to solve problems with grace.
Client & Partner Comms: Keep everyone aligned with clear agendas, recaps, and next steps.
Research & Sponsorships: Source venues/talent/partners, build outreach lists, and draft first‑touch emails.
Project Ops: Maintain trackers (Sheets/Excel/Airtable/Asana), organize assets, and deliver post‑event recaps with insights and simple metrics.
Represent Muddy Creek: Attend select networking events and industry gatherings; support brand presence and relationships.
Qualifications
2–4 years in events, client coordination, partnerships, or marketing.
Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills; able to keep many balls in the air without dropping details.
Bias to action and critical thinking—anticipate needs, make sound calls, and follow through.
Clear writing and design sense for decks/proposals (concise copy, clean slides, coherent narrative).
Client‑facing confidence; calm under event‑week pressure and shifting priorities.
Required tools: Google Workspace, Canva (or similar), PowerPoint/Keynote; comfortable in Sheets/Excel.
Bonus: Familiarity with ChatGPT (or similar AI tools), Asana, Airtable, or a CRM.
Ability to travel; occasional evenings/weekends during event seasons.
Compensation & Growth
