Summary The Supervisor Key Holder is a support role in running our retail stores efficiently. The Supervisor supports the Store Manager in all operations and sales management functions, ensuring that the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. They ensure the store is replenished, marketing and promotional changes are executed per company directives, and support training of sales associates.
Responsibilities Customer Experience
Act as a role model at all times, keeping customers the top priority and responding to all customer needs.
Achieve excellent scores on secret shopper reports.
Maintain the store’s visual distinctiveness and appearance impeccably.
Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results.
Demonstrate awareness of individual contribution to business results.
Promote merchandise and demonstrate product knowledge to customers, assisting with requests.
Share vision and plan execution of store strategy in alignment with corporate and district initiatives.
Understand reports, analysis of business trends and inventory opportunities.
Operational Responsibilities
Prioritize workflow through successful planning and time management.
Support appropriate staffing levels based on business trends and payroll guidelines.
Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures and operations.
Support the Store Manager in meeting expectations for store maintenance, appearance and cleanliness.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
Communicate all loss‑prevention occurrences to the Store Manager, District Manager and Loss Prevention Manager.
Support, supervise and motivate staff members.
Visual, Brand and Product Management
Participate and support execution of all pricing strategies to achieve gross margin.
Support the execution of merchandise set up according to visual guidelines.
Communicate store inventory opportunities to the Store Manager.
Support replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor as needed.
People Responsibilities
Adhere to Human Resources standards following general practices.
Hold teams accountable for achieving results and communicate with Store Managers on opportunities.
Manage conflict.
Empower and involve the team in the decision‑making process while guiding the process.
Be receptive to feedback and foster dialogue around solutions.
Maintain confidentiality and meet own commitments.
Requirements
Energetic and positive attitude.
1–2 years of retail experience.
Flexible availability and reliable transportation.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Customer‑service oriented (outgoing, friendly, personable with a positive attitude).
Must be able to move and/or lift to 25 pounds.
High school degree.
