Manage procurement and supply chain activities with a focus on inventory and supplier performance. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal costs. Identify and implement supply chain optimization projects; develop requirements and standards (e.g., procurement, shipping). Analyze data to inform decisions and monitor key metrics related to supply chain performance. Design and implement processes to optimize inventory procedures and ERP/MRP systems utilization. Engage in supplier negotiations across multiple levels of the relationship. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships. Communicate potential obstacles to senior management to maintain efficiency. Commit to cost-effective shipping modes and schedules. Ensure alignment with manufacturing and pharmaceutical industry requirements where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration 3+ years of procurement and supply chain experience Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry (preferred) CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) Inventory and supply planning experience Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle ERP (preferred) Strong data collection, analysis, and critical thinking skills Strong negotiation skills with suppliers Deadline- and detail-oriented mindset Benefits
