Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

As a Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Manager, you will work with some of affirm’s largest and most strategic partners to drive revenue, GMV, and users.

What You’ll Do

Manage a large affirm partner and develop and drive strategic initiatives to grow business and create new opportunities.

Manage expansion opportunities, optimize existing programs, and set the strategic direction for projects and programs.

Deliver a proactive client management strategy to drive incremental GMV, revenue, and users, and expand affirm’s relationship coverage.

Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to increase product adoption, grow awareness, and sell into expansion opportunities.

Orchestrate cross‑functional teams across product, technical, credit, analytics, marketing, and risk teams to execute partnership initiatives and drive business results.

Pitch affirm to new lines of business and own the strategic roadmap to highlight the value of affirm and establish an integration path.

What We Look For

7+ years of B2B client‑facing experience; preferably in a high‑tech environment.

Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to manage strategic accounts.

Experience managing cross‑functional projects with a high attention to detail.

Strong written (proposals, memos, e‑mails) and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report on impacts.

Experience negotiating and closing commercial contracts (e.g., RFPs, renewals).

Capability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and go beyond defined responsibilities.

Ability to craft compelling value propositions, deliver persuasive presentations, and drive engagement with stakeholders.

Knowledge of consumer finance offerings, integrated software solutions, and e‑commerce preferred.

Comfortable using Salesforce and BI tools.

Pay & Compensation Pay Grade: K.

Equity Grade: 6.

On Target Earnings (USA) range: $186,000‑$261,000 annually for other U.S. states; $210,000‑$285,000 annually for CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT.

Base pay plus sales incentive target, equity rewards, monthly stipends, and benefits.
