As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will partner directly with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, facilitating the integration of technology that meets their operational goals. If you are passionate about introducing cutting-edge technology to enhance customer and partner experiences, this role is for you. You will provide strategic thought leadership, focusing on the value technological investments bring to our customers.
Responsibilities
Act as a pivotal technical member of the Business Development team, ensuring customer success in developing applications and services on the AWS platform.
Establish technical credibility during sales cycles and confidently engage in discussions with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, Senior Developers, and other stakeholders in the PE sector.
Outline each customer engagement with explicit objectives and success metrics.
Deliver technical and architectural guidance to PE firms and their portfolio companies; assist in framing cost-optimization strategies utilizing appropriate architecture and AWS pricing models.
Team up with PE firms and portfolio companies to secure necessary technical resources for success with AWS services.
Build strong relationships with executives at PE firms and portfolio companies, leveraging your expertise in enterprise architecture, M&A, migration, and the cost optimization of IT infrastructure.
Support AWS leadership through engaging platform briefings, roadmap discussions, and Solution Architect office hours.
Contribute to the broader AWS customer community by leading specialized workshops and training sessions.
Qualifications
Basic
8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
5+ years of IT development or consulting experience within the software or Internet sectors.
Preferred
10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
Experience engaging with end-users or developer communities.
10+ years in one or more of the noted technology domains.
Location and compensation details are variable. The provided base pay range for this role is determined by Amazon and can differ based on geographic location and other factors.
