Overview:
You will rapidly improve financial reporting and operational tracking of all Amca acquisitions, producing and delivering data that will drive real-time decision-making and rapid operational improvement.
Qualifications:
Expert in accounting, bookkeeping, financial statement reporting, financial and data analysis, networking capital management, audit, tax, payroll and compliance CPA with strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP accounting, with ability to connect accounting principles to economic insights Must be proficient in Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and other ERP systems Ability to synthesize data, draw key conclusions, and aid in key decisions Thorough understanding of accounting for manufacturing-based business - prior experience in aerospace and defense is a plus Humble attitude, relentless work ethic, and passion for solving problems Familiar with cost accounting and inventory management Experience in systems implementations Communication skills: Quick on their feet Clear and succinct Distill and explain complex concepts Thoughtfully convicted and decisive
Responsibilities: Ability to own financial reporting (US GAAP), for Amca and acquired companies, with ability to use QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (and ERPs such as NetSuite); candidate will aid in transitioning acquired companies from Desktop to Online and automating processes (payroll, invoices, payables, taxes, etc.) Amca will be acquiring small-scale companies with poor financial reporting and operational tracking. Candidate must have the ability to identify deficiencies and implement solutions Involved in most operational finance workstreams, including net working capital management, budget tracking, RFQ / PO / sales tracking, KPI aggregation and analysis, payroll, daily / weekly cash reconciliation, tax, and more Implement an accounting infrastructure that consolidates multiple entities and can seamlessly integrate new acquisitions Assist in development of financial models, forecasting, scenario planning, and capital allocation Implement proper accounting processes and procedures, with ability to get Amca audit-ready Develop and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure compliance and data integrity Partner with Head of Finance to evaluate and implement finance systems and automation tools
