07:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tuesday, Thursday:
09:00 AM - 06:00 PM Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Medical Assistant
to join a dynamic healthcare team in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both
front and back-office operations , possess strong communication and multitasking abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with providers and staff in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet, room, and prepare patients for exams and procedures. Record patient history, vital signs, and other relevant medical information accurately. Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Perform
phlebotomy/venipuncture , administer
vaccines , and collect lab specimens as needed. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle front-office duties such as answering phones and verifying insurance. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical areas. Provide patient education on preventive care and treatment plans. Support medical documentation in the
Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
system. Ensure compliance with
HIPAA ,
OSHA , and infection control standards. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism. Qualifications:
Required: 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (beyond externship). Experience in
front and back-office operations . Proficiency in
phlebotomy/venipuncture
and EMR systems. Current
BLS or CPR certification
(AHA or equivalent). Preferred:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA) . Experience in
Occupational Health
or
Primary Care
settings. Strong organizational and communication skills.
