Job Summary:
As a Help Desk Technician at BelovED Community Charter School, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational technology infrastructure. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to students, teachers, and staff and helping create a conducive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to teachers, and staff, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Hardware Maintenance: Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, laptops, tablets, projectors, and other educational technology devices. Maintain accurate device and inventory counts.
Software Support: Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade software applications used in the educational environment, including learning management systems, productivity software, and educational software.
User Training: Offer basic training and guidance to end-users on technology usage and best practices.
Infrastructure Management: Maintain ticketing, asset management, website and other key networking systems
Documentation: Keep detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and IT equipment inventory.
Security Awareness: Assist in maintaining the security and integrity of the school's IT systems by adhering to security policies and procedures.
Infrastructure Maintenance: Proficiently and proactively diagnose issues with Infrastructure services.
Salary: $46,000-$50,000
INDOPERATIONS
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred).
Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field.
Interest in K-12 education
Experience using Incident IQ (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience in an educational setting is a plus, but not required.
