Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Medical Assistant
to support their busy clinical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle standard clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.
Medical Assistant's Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine clinical procedures including vitals, blood draws, swabs, and specimen collection Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits Accurately document patient information and maintain medical records Support patient flow and coordinate communication between providers and patients Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying insurance, and updating charts as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Travel to the Wilton office twice weekly to provide consistent patient care and team support Medical Assistant's Qualifications and Skills:
Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training preferred Prior experience in a specialty setting such as endocrinology or diabetes care is highly desirable Experience with Epic EMR is a plus, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently Reliable transportation to travel between Stamford and Wilton locations
