LHH is partnering with a leading organization in Portland, OR to identify an experienced Senior IT Program Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role plays a strategic part in onboarding and executing Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery projects across a $16M program portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding and delivery of a portfolio of 12 interrelated IT projects
- Coordinate project budgeting, forecasting, and planning across multiple fiscal years
- Manage cross-functional resources, vendor engagement, and project teams
- Align project deliverables with broader business goals, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Partner with SONIC stakeholders for resourcing, communication, and reporting
- Oversee risk mitigation, issue resolution, and program-level change control

- Organize and monitor inter-connected projects
- Develop program-level strategies and execution plans
- Evaluate performance metrics and ensure delivery efficiency
- Lead and mentor project managers and internal/external teams
- Track project financials, develop operating models, and maintain key documentation
- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT project/program management
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex IT programs with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, and resource planning
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and templates (PMO standards)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
- Experience delivering projects in Cybersecurity, Compliance, Infrastructure, or Service Delivery
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Azure, SailPoint, Red Hat Satellite, Hypervisor, Splunk, and M365
- PMI certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Master's degree in business, technology, or related field is a plus
