As part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, the Senior Account Manager will contribute to building and maintaining long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure high satisfaction and increased revenues. The role involves identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities and developing medium- to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers. Collaboration across cross-functional departments is required to achieve goals. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Sales growth - Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual assigned sales quotas for revenue growth and strategic objectives in assigned territory or accounts. Strategic Account Management - Map Key Account organization and develop relationships with key decision makers to understand what is required to add value, win new business, and exceed expectations. Lead Nordson Medical’s strategic objectives and account planning process for Key accounts, including revenue targets and performance objectives. Advocate for customers by informing and educating Nordson Medical business units on what is required to win new business. Collaborate with the North America Sales Manager and Product team on strategic projects focusing on profitable growth, including price adjustments, new product implementation, and contractual negotiations. Increase sales volume for assigned products and markets in alignment with marketing strategies, goals, and targets. Identify and develop customers for existing products to profitably increase sales to meet targets. Utilize technical expertise in products, processes, and applications to accelerate qualification of products at potential customers. Identify, analyze, and provide timely market information (pricing dynamics, competitive landscape, market evolution). Maintain an up-to-date record system for accounts, products, and distributors to support strategy continuity. Possess extensive sales experience in a related industry and the ability to generate business leads. Identify new business leads and contact prospective strategic clients to promote reliability products and services. Establish efficient communication channels and liaise between strategic clients and internal departments. Develop innovative solutions for complex problems and manage current and potential customer queries to build the business. Communicate Nordson Medical’s value proposition and act as a trusted advisor to customers. Lead communication between Accounts and Nordson Medical business units, establishing recurring calls, business reviews, and visits. Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Coordinate involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations. Provide customer feedback for product development as the voice of the customer as needed. Attend state, regional, and national trade shows as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned. Account Management
Relationship-building with key stakeholders throughout the account lifecycle. Serve as the single point of contact for all things Nordson Medical. Escalation point and manager of support and service escalations. Ability to network across an organization and establish relationships with key decision makers. Provide reporting to cross-functional areas and senior management. Provide periodic health checks and business reviews to key customer stakeholders; review metrics and develop improvement programs. Accountabilities and Performance Measures
Achesives assigned sales quota. Meets and maintains company expectations for average sales pricing and profitability. Completes customer/prospect account plans that meet company standards. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Master's degree is preferred. 10-15 years of proven successful work experience in medical device or healthcare sales (device, connected device, bio-tech, digital health). Excellent in identifying sales opportunities, developing relationships with key strategic decision-makers, and managing the sales process. Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following through on tasks. Ability to think critically and strategically while considering customer and company needs. Skills and Abilities
Expert knowledge of strategic, tactical, and consultative selling in a complex sales environment. Strong analytical skills: market strategy, customer requirements, success factors, and value-based selling. High drive and ability to influence and execute. Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create impactful presentations. Negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills. Proven relationship-building skills with experience in territory development and customer retention (phone and in person). Strong organization and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency using Web, MS Office, Salesforce, and/or other CRM tools. Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Base Salary Range: $125,000 to $160,000 annually, with a target bonus of 30%. Benefits include Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, Health Savings Account (HSA), retirement and security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, plus 16 hours paid volunteer time per year for Nordson-sponsored events. Matching Gifts Program is available. The base pay range is a guideline and not a salary guarantee. Salaries are determined by factors including internal equity, business considerations, local market conditions, and candidate qualifications. Other Notes
