Salary: $136,000.00 – $178,000.00
Overview You will develop high-performance embedded products for military and defense systems. Our Software Engineers work in an agile, collaborative environment. You will define, design, develop, test, certify, and improve cutting‑edge software products for advanced electronic mission payloads on aircraft, ground vehicles, ships, and more.
Responsibilities
Work as part of an Agile software development team.
Develop software trusted by U.S. Special Operations Forces.
Design, implement, document, test, and debug embedded software prioritizing reliability and performance.
Follow and contribute to continuously improving team code standards.
Define software and/or system architecture, design software modules, and produce documentation per relevant standards.
Qualifications – Required
Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
Understanding of computer‑aided engineering tools and engineering principles.
Experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams.
Advanced knowledge of data structures and algorithm implementation in C and C++.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
Strong organization skills and work ethic.
Qualifications – Preferred
Experience with industry standard languages: C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, Bash.
Experience with software tools: requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library/artifact repository, automated build.
Proficiency with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Spiral methodologies.
Familiarity with version control (subversion, git).
Knowledge of real‑time operating systems and embedded systems.
Familiarity with graphics programming (OpenGL/Vulkan) and linear algebra, statistics, calculus.
Interest in avionics, drones, robotics, computer vision, control systems, and networking.
