Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

The Production Manager will oversee and optimize manufacturing operations and production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within the plant. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in the industrial manufacturing industry.

Description Reporting directly into the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the following:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure timely production and adherence to quality standards.

Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

Monitor and maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.

Lead and manage a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Analyze production data to identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation.

Work closely with EHS to ensure standards, processes, and procedures are being followed and met.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.

Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of equipment and machinery.

Profile A successful Production Manager should have:

A Bachelor's Degree - required, Master's Degree - preferred

10+ years of experience in production and manufacturing.

Must have experience working in a union plant.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.

Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, SixSigma, and Continuous Improvement.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
