Job Description
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. Manage and optimize production workflows, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency. Coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations. Lead and develop production staff, including training, performance management, and shift scheduling. Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost reduction. Ensure inventory levels of raw materials and components are maintained to support uninterrupted production. Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Support new product introductions and process changes through planning and execution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, quality, efficiency, and scrap rates to senior management. The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in production or operations management. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with ERP systems and production planning tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and team-building abilities What's on Offer
