Job Description
Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management and trial preparation
Bluebook, cite-check, and proofread legal documents
Manage document production and discovery responses
Maintain electronic case files and centralized document repositories
File and e-file pleadings in federal and state courts
Draft and serve subpoenas
Track case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules
Communicate with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and court personnel
Prepare trial exhibits and assist in courtroom logistics
Travel as needed for trials and hearings
Occasional overtime required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules
Bluebook and cite-checking proficiency
Trial support experience
Proficiency in Westlaw EDGE, PACER, Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with NetDocuments, FiscalNote, Adobe, Best Authority a plus
Paralegal certificate preferred
Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime
Interest in political or progressive causes is a plus
