Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver course instruction in day and/or evening lecture and laboratory settings.
Follow common course outlines and instruction policies.
Grade, critique, and evaluate student work.
Provide timely and periodic feedback to students.
Maintain accurate classroom records and submit them as required.
Attend required training sessions, professional development, and departmental meetings.
Compensation:
Adjunct Level 1 – $1,085 per credit hour.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Physics, or a related field of study.
Knowledge of freshman and sophomore level electrical, mechanical, and general engineering material, including engineering design, statics, dynamics, mechanical systems troubleshooting, fundamentals of electronics, digital electronics, communications systems, and engineering mathematics.
Prior teaching experience or graduate level training preferred.
